Our Brief

The brief was to design and deliver an extensive 8-day induction program for their postgraduates and new consultant recruits. This was a large instructional design and facilitation project with two core objectives. Firstly, to educate all participants on core client management skill competencies. And secondly to educate the participants on Cognizant best practices and expectations as a new employee.

This project involved liaison with both the local Australian and Global Head office in India to ensure the project was delivered to the specified learning objectives and aligned to Cognizant employment standards.

What Challenges Did The Client Have?

There were some specific challenges that needed to be addressed within the training solution provided. These are as follows:

  1. Understanding the Cognizant values and best practice of their internal culture.
  2. How this standard applies on a deployment contract when working for a client with a different set of values and culture.
  3. The knowledge and application of working with the internal cross cultural communication standards and practices as a global organisation.
  4. Required a pre and post metric of skill assessment.
